a superb view of the Venetian roofs can be seen. This centrally

the most popular café’s restaurants shops and museums
all to be found in and around the charm of St Mark's square.
Hotel
All’Angelo, Venice, has long been a haunt of renowned painters
and artists and can certainly lay claim to fame as having had a
pivotal role in the founding of the new art front (‘Fronte
Nuovo delle Arti’) which is thought to have been born in it’s
very rooms, with some of Italy and the world’s most famous
artists meeting to discuss their art and literature here. The evidence
can still be found today within the restaurant, halls and breakfast
room with original paintings by artists such as Matisse, Braque,
Arp and Vedova and many other artists synonymous with the period.
A modest 3 star hotel for many years, Hotel All’Angelo has
undergone considerable refurbishment and structural change since
its early days of having just 8 rooms for its opening in 1924. Since
the most recent large scale renovation in 1988, this central Venice
accommodation now boasts 56 comfortable and elegant single and double
rooms, and complements period features, such as the restoration
of the wooden-beam ceilings, with today’s necessary technology.
Although Hotel All’Angelo retains its simplistic style, this
three star Venice Hotel has an alluring quality of its own with
it rich history and classic décor.
